Bio
Siabhan Brown is a native of Mount Vernon, NY. Her training began at Nellie A. Thornton
Elementary Magnet Arts School, now known as Denzel Washington School of the Arts, under
Karen Zambelli. Ms. Brown has trained in ballet, pointe, West African, Horton and Graham
among other techniques. She completed The Ailey School’s Scholarship Program in 2021 and
has also studied on scholarship at The Dance Theatre of Harlem, Earl Mosley’s Institute of the
Arts, and Joffrey Ballet School’s NYC Jazz & Contemporary Trainee Program. Ms. Brown has
performed works by Alvin Ailey, Louis Johnson, Frederick Earl Mosley, Robert Garland,
Jacqulyn Buglisi, and Royce Zackery, among others. Her professional performing experience
includes dancing for Visions Contemporary Ballet, and guest artisting with B Moore Dance. Her
professional choreographic experience includes creating work for The Joyful Noise Christian
Theatre for their production of Jesus the light of the World, Garden of Miracles and A walk with
the King. She now spends her time as a freelance performer, choreographer and instructor in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
